Research Facilities

The endocrinology laboratory primarily measures hormones and acute phase proteins. One focus is on the performance of immunological assays.

The microbiological laboratory focuses on studies on hygiene in livestock farming and the quality of animal products.

The laboratory of the Animal Nutrition department performs analyses for feed evaluation. Exercises and practical courses are also carried out here as part of teaching.

Campus Frankenforst is one of the three outdoor research facilities of the Faculty of Agriculture. In the scope of teaching it allows for explorative learning under practical conditions.
